Welcome to the photography website of Christine Lam. Here you can find a selection of some of my favourite works, as well as a little information about me and the equipment I use. I am a Sydney based photographer and graphic designer who has completed the degree of Bachelor of Design Computing at the University of Sydney. Originally a live music photographer, I have also worked as a studio photographer and more recently a graphic designer at one of Sydney's most well established print companies.
I have always been interested in all things creative, but my love for photography is a result of my love for digital art. What began as a hobby back in high school has now become my career, as I work as a graphic designer and photographer in a well established print company in Sydney.
I have experimented in many forms of fine art, my favourite being mixed media. The true abstract nature of mixed media has really helped me stay creative and inspired when I'm under other pressures.
My first real passion was live music photography. I love how I can capture all the action and emotion of a performance, and share it with the world.
I have photographed many local and international musical acts in some of Sydney's largest venues.
Such acts include:
- Billy Joel
- Crowded House
- Franz Ferdinand
- Bloodhound Gang
- The Mars Volta
- Rise Against
- The Living End
- The Used
- Counting Crows
